This is a total landclass modification of the North Mariana Islands
along with modifications to the following airports due to incorrect
navigation lighting and runway layouts.
PGUM Guam International Airport
PGUA Andersen Air Force Base
Andersen, Mariana Island, Guam
PGRO Rota International Airport
Rota Island, Northern Mariana Is
PGWT Tinian International Airport
Tinian Island, Northern Mariana Is
TT01 Pagan Airstrip
Shomu-Shon, Northern Mariana Is
All of the World War II air fields have been added. I made several attempts using various scenery design programs but the
frame rate hits were not to my liking. I prefer high frame rates so I sacrificed the "old" WWII look and used AFCAD to create
the airports. Orote and Northwest field continue to be used for touch an go practice by military aircraft.
If you prefer a different older look there are excellent scenery
programs available, but with the same frame rate hit that I avoided
by using AFCAD.
I created my own air field AFCAD names for the WWII military
airports Orote Field and North West Field located on Guam
and North Field located on Tinian.
PGO1 for Orote Field, Guam.
PGN1 for North West Field, Guam.
PGW1 for North Field, Tinian.
I have added a few default buildings to the airports.
They are listed in the scenery folder.
If you don't like them just delete them
from he scenery folder. No damage will be done.

North West Field Guam Buildings_1.bgl
PGRO_building.bgl
PGUA_building.bgl
PGUM_building.bgl
PGWT Terminal.bgl
I have tested the scenery using FS9 (FS2004) using
FSGenesis terrain mesh and the default Microsoft scenery.
I also checked the landclass using Ground Environment Pro
with no problems.
INSTALLATION:
Unzip the Guam5a file into a temporary folder.
Copy the AFCAD files that are located in the AFCAD'S folder
into the Flightsimulator9/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.
Your new airport scenery will then be installed.
Copy the Guam5a folder into your Flightsimulator9/Addon
Scenery folder and activate the new area in your FS2004
Scenery Library.
The modified Raw and Inf files are included so you can change the
landclass and waterclass if you have the proper software.
For landclass modification I used Landclass Assistant 1.4 by John
Cillis and Ez-Landclass by Russel Dirks. CellGrid2004a by Richard
Ludowise was very useful for land class correction due to slight
geographical errors in the location of the islands. I also used
Paavo Pihelgas ExcBuilder, FSTflatten created by Steve Greenwood
,Fumey Christian's Defarea and Lee Swordy's AFCAD 2.21.
